Examinations Regulations for IPQ Courses

As a student of the Bachelor- and Masterdegree Programm you need to register online via the Campus Management System (former 'Studierendenportal'). At the start of your examination appointment you need to present your valid student ID-card. Both these steps are mandatory - without them, your admission for any examination will be denied.

Students may take the examination within six weeks after the end of the semester.

Hint for oral exams: You should expect questions that will prove your overall - and deeper - comprehension of the subject matter to be examined. Also expect questions related to short mathematical derivations.

Oral exams will be held in English language. If you would like to take your exam in German, please mention that when you apply for an exam date.

Students who are not successful in online registration (in particular students of the KSOP- and Erasmus-Mundus program) have to apply in time for an examination slip at the “Masterprüfungs-Ausschuss”, building 30.36, room 208.

If registration is not done or no examination slip presented, the examination appointment will be cancelled.
