January 16, 2023: KCOP is a cutting-edge multi-user micro- and nanofabrication facility, which will be able to offer an area larger than 2000 m² for cleanroom and laboratory space to a wide range of research groups from both fundamental science and engineering. Funded by the Helmholtz Association, the goal of KCOP is to provide excellent framework conditions for research in Optics & Photonics and in Quantum Technologies. The initiative is led by Christian Koos a scientific coordinator and by Lothar Hahn as a project leader.
